What holiday shows are playing in Chicago area?

Chicago’s stages are gifting the area with holiday treats for all ages this winter.

Offerings include annual favorites (from Charles Dickens, Frank Capra and Beatrix Potter), a holiday treat with actress Jane Lynch, holiday-themed improv (The Second City) and plenty of new and classic treats from Broadway in Chicago (“& Juliet,” “Les Miserables,” “Mean Girls,” “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”) and other Chicago theaters (“Little Women,” “Frozen,” “The Little Mermaid”).

But that’s only scratching the surface. Here’s a look at some of the offerings for theater lovers of all ages.
